In this season, there are many celebrations that are occurring and there is a lot of spiritual activity that is and will be evident. However, this year 2021, I observed an unusual occurrence on the last day of Passover, which was on the day of Easter. During this time of convergence, are we missing the spiritual significance of what is occurring in the spiritual realm that will be released in the months to come?

            Passover is the time that the chosen people of God, Israel celebrate the exodus from slavery in Egypt and the passing over of the forces of destruction. It is also the release from the past that has held one captive. The timing this year not only allowed the Passover, but the Easter celebration to coincide in the same timing of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus,  This time of great spiritual activity and transition, that must be recognized.

            During the time of the Easter celebration, our thoughts may be limited. There should be a constant revelation each time that we celebrate the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. Every year, there should be a hunger for something new knowing that there is so much more. There is heightened spiritual activity, which we need to pay attention to in seeking the Lord.

            This year, there revelation that I received was simple, but there was an emphasis on it. God gave Jesus as a gift to us and there is still so much more to be unwrapped. He was our gift and we in turn should be gifts of lights to others. I recently had someone to tell me that they saw and knew that the Lord was in me. That is and was a give Him Glory moment!

            What are the treasures that we carry that are wrapped to be released for an appointed time? Isaiah 45:2-3 speaks of the treasures and hidden riches in secret places. “I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.” He has to go before you to break up the strongholds of ideas from the world and level every mountain that have been erected that the enemy has been using to keep the treasure within you from being revealed.

            These hidden treasures have been concealed to be revealed at the appointed time for the Kingdom glory. There are things tucked inside of you beyond your imagination and ability waiting to be released to demonstrate the glory of God in you and through you. Worship is one key to the unlocking to the stored wealth. We have no idea of everything that we carry or possess. Remember that you are the temple of the Holy Spirit and He resides within you. Have you ever wondered what are you carrying or what has been released to you during worship?

            Fifty days after Passover and Easter, this year is the time of Pentecost. It is the time of the wind of the Holy Spirit descending up the New Testament Believers with signs, wonders and miracles that followed. It is also the time of Shavuot, the Festival of Weeks, and the Jewish celebration. It marks the beginning of the wheat harvest. We are currently in the time of the upcoming Pentecost. It is a time of seeking to be positioned for what is coming in the wind of the spirit.

            It is also a time of cleansing because of the new that is coming. The old has come to pass. It is a time to think differently. Jesus shed blood for you to think differently when the crown of thorns was placed on His head before He went to the cross. Catching that revelation was monumental for me! Talk about a renewing of the mind! “ Don't be like the people of this world, but let God change the way you think. Then you will know how to do everything that is good and pleasing to him.” Romans 12:2 CEV.

            Therefore, as we move through this time, I pray that the Father releases a fresh wind of revelation, wisdom and insight upon us all with a newness that we have never experienced. Let the renewing of strength not only be a renewing but an opening and explosion of the deep hidden treasure that is within that has never been displayed. As we think differently, let us speak differently because of what has been revealed. We will know and understand the secrets of this transition that connects us to the greatness of God within.

“When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place, and suddenly a sound came from heaven like a rushing violent wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. There appeared to them tongues resembling fire, which were being distributed among them, and they rested on each one of them as each person received the Holy Spirit.”

Acts 2:1-3 AMP

   Look here, what’s done is done and gone.
        The now is new, and there’s hope in the not-yet.
    I will tell you what’s to come, even before the events are brand-new.
