THE EVERYS
Reading the Word of God and finding scriptures is an adventure. You may start out looking for one thing, and in your search, find an unknown to you, a jewel to add to the treasure chest of your heart. You may have read that scripture nor another one before, but you are not in the same place that you were then. This Word comes before your eyes at the right time. The new revelation comes as you have matured in the element called time.
Am finding that the Word of God is a treasure, full of radiant jewels awaiting discovery. In a recent search, as I was meditating on these words, ‘God is able,’ I found a new jewel. The scripture that caught my attention was, 2 Corinthians 9:8. “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.”
In the course of searching, I normally meditate on about five different versions of the Word of God. I used to be King James only, but I have been enlightened with more revelation, which is the greatest asset to my faith. As I began to read, I noticed the word ‘every’ in the Amplified version. Thinking about the definition and the meaning of the word, ‘every’, certain words were in my thoughts. Such words were the highest, the greatest, and the all of it all. It meant that God would leave nothing out and would not spare any resource.
Continuing to meditate on different versions, The Passion translation is the one that gave me the revelation of ‘The Everys.’ “Yes, God is more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace, so that you will have more than enough of everything, every moment and in every way. He will make you overflow with abundance in every good thing you do.” The light bulb came on and I could see that revelation added to my faith as a driving force, because of the timing of my search.
The first ‘every’ is every form of grace. Knowing that grace is the unmerited favor of God, I began to wonder about the wonder of every form of grace. It is beyond my thoughts and imagination because there is another word in that part of the verse, overwhelm. Immediately, another scripture comes to connect to meditate. “But as the Scriptures say, No eye has ever seen and no ear has ever heard and it has never occurred to the human heart All the things God prepared for those who love Him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9 Voice.
The next three ‘everys’ were everything, every moment in every way. All that one would ever need all thing that were important any time, would be provided by the Almighty for the outcome to give Him all the glory. This is without exception. Nothing is excluded. In fact, He has already provided through His promises.
Entering into the state of the previous ‘everys’ leads to the overflow of abundance for every good thing that you do. All is given so that you will have more than enough to share and to do the good deed to bring glory to His name. It is given to you to point back to Him and show the world that He is the only true and living God.
God I looking to see if there is anyone ready to handle the ‘everys’. The purpose of the ‘everys’ is proclaim His love and His goodness by letting people know that is all God. It all points back to Him. Please note that not everyone can handle this type of overwhelming abundance and remain humble. There is so much to do and time is of the essence. Who is willing to become an arrow in the bow of the Lord to be shot forth for his purpose a plan? He is ready to lavish His love. Are you ready?
The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there were any that did understand and seek God.
Psalm 14:2 KJV
Everything you have made will praise you, fulfilling its purpose. And all your godly ones will be found bowing before you. They will tell the world of the lavish splendor of your kingdom and preach about your limitless power. They will demonstrate for all to see your miracles of might and reveal the glorious majesty of your kingdom.
