For many years after I discovered that God has His own calendar, I began to follow His civil and sacred calendars. I began to seek for the revelation and understanding of His times. Even though there is a Gregorian calendar that was set by man, God’s calendar still exists for His chosen people, Israel.

          Recently, during the time of the Fall Feasts of Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur

(Day of Atonement), a man of God sent me words that captured my attention in my spirit.  “This month shall be the beginning of months to you; it is to be the first month of the year to you.” Exodus 12:2 AMP. Then he added the phrase ‘getting a Head Start on 2023.’

          God can speak to you anyway He wants, we just need to pay attention. I needed to pay attention to the timing and all of this so that I would understand the purpose. This was the first time that this had happened to me at this time on His calendar as far as I can remember. So, I found this to be very important personally since God knows exactly where I am and my thought processes.

          I began to praise God because He was giving me a Head Start on 2023 in the last three months of this year. He is speaking to me while I am still in this present time about my future and what I need to do next. It is definitely time to draw nearer to Him than ever before. It is time to REFLECT and REPENT to be REFRESHED and RESTORED prior to entering 2023.

          The Sons of Issachar, understood the times and got the knowledge of what to do for the people of Israel. (1 Chronicles 12:23). “This is all the more urgent, for you know how late it is; time is running out. Wake up, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.”  (Romans 13:11 NLT). It is an important time and we must awaken and arise!

          We are in need of instructions from the Lord and they can be received by those who are in that place of seeking and desiring His presence like never before. It is imperative that we seek Him for understanding of His plan so that we can be in agreement and go in the right direction. All of this will come through prayer, our kingdom communication and connection.

          Colossians 1:10, is a verse that I found to be very important in my walk with the Lord. There are four things that speak to me: to walk worthy of what He has called me to do, be fully pleasing to Him, bear fruit in good work, and grow in the knowledge of Him. Growing in the knowledge of Him will help to learn to know Him better and better. The Voice version says that you will get true knowledge from Him. He will give you a wise mind and spirit to be attuned to His will according to the Message version. I just ask Him to make me intelligent in you and get my mind ready! Hallelujah!

          The crossover into God’s calendar year 5783, opened a new revelation for my time. I know that my times are in His hand, but He is giving me a Head Start because 2023 is already prepared for me. (Psalm 31:15). In Exodus 23:20, the Word says that He has sent an angel before me to bring me into the place that is prepared for me, “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” (Ephesians 2:10 NLT).
