Recently, I had a very unusual thought and the words were ‘The Snowball Effect.’ I had never had a thought with these words before. Of course, I was intrigued and knew that this was something from that Lord that I needed to search out.

The definition of ‘The Snowball Effect’, is it a process where a small action or events grows and leads to something that increases to be larger as the action continues. Immediately, the first script that came to mind was James 2:17. It is one of the ones that is quoted on a regular basis. “So too, faith, if it does not have works to back it up, is by itself dead inoperative and ineffective.” One may have the faith, but there is no assignment or purpose to the faith because of lack of movement, and therefore there is no operation and no evidence. Nothing has manifested. Did the enemy release the spirit of delay to make you think that there would be no fulfillment?

Zechariah 4:10 NLT states, “Do not despise these small beginning, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin.”  I begin to think how the Lord rejoices when He sees me doing something especially because He has given me an assignment, meaning that I am qualified to bring forth the evidence.  Sometimes we forget “You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed and placed and purposefully planted you, so that you would go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit will remain and be lasting.” John 15:16 AMP.

Many times, we have an assignment that we let lapse due to various reasons forgetting the importance of being a conduit for the Lord on the earth. I know that I have on many occasions. I am reminded that “the Lord has begun a great work in me and will not stop mid-design, but will keep perfecting me until the day of Jesus Christ.”  Philippians 1:6.

So, the next thought is am I hindering the move and the plan of God? Have I not paid attention to what He has started? Did I not understand the importance of what is on the inside of me, which is the Kingdom of God? If I didn’t know or understand, why didn’t I ask for the wisdom that was needed? Did I let time shake my confidence and make me think that what I was given and entrusted with would not lead to something greater?

The scripture Job 8:7 KJV, says “Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end shall greatly increase.” That word has the future in it at the end. So, just keep moving in the process. The focus should be on what is already in God’s plan that He states and besides He knows what He is doing. There should be an excitement for the end that grows as you keep diligent in the work that has been assigned, experiencing increase through perseverance.  The Word does not lie and is forever settled in heaven meaning that it is fixed, meaning standing firm, resolute and unchangeable. Psalm 119:89.

An adjustment is needed for my thinking and vision. What may seem small in my eyes is great in God’s eyes. I need an optical alliance, so that I can have a glimpse of His vision and my vision in alignment. Limitations are Set by the ‘Concept of Impossibilities’. We are Programmed to Think Impossible before Possible. Thinking BIG is for me to simply Believe In God.

Do not, therefore, fling away your fearless confidence,

for it has a glorious and great reward.
