Recently, I had the honor and the privilege to share some of this word on the ReStore, ReFocus and ReFresh ministerial network, hosted by Elder Jean H. King. The focus for the month of November was Shape, Mold, or Stuck. After reviewing the scriptures that were assigned, my focus was on Psalm 40:1-3 AMP. “I waited patiently and expectantly for the Lord; And He inclined to me and heard my cry. He brought me up out of a horrible pit of tumult and of destruction, out of the miry clay, And He set my feet upon a rock, steadying my footsteps and establishing my path. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God; Many will see and fear with great reverence And will trust confidently in the Lord.”

          Waiting patiently and expectantly on the Lord, is something that we do not always do. Impatience and frustration with time manages to find a way into our thoughts and mouths. But we need to remember that our God has a plan and much that we do not know about is a part of it. “For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11.

          He sees and hears and knows all and exactly where you are in the plan that He has already written for every stage. He knows the past, present and the future. One of my favorite scriptures for understanding this is found in Psalm 139:16. “Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written The days that were appointed for me, When as yet there was not one of them even taking shape. AMP. “Even before I was born, you had written in your book everything about me.” CEV. “All the stages of my life were spread out before you, The days of my life all prepared before I’d even lived one day.”

          So, He took time to write a book on the stages of your life. What stage are you in this day, this week, this month, this season or this year? What chapter are you in? What paragraph or sentence that you are moving through? Are you at the period or the semicolon? Have you moved to the next sentence, paragraph or chapter?

Did you even ask where you are in the plan? “Call to Me and I will answer you, and tell you and even show you great and mighty things, things which have been confined and hidden, which you do not know and understand and cannot distinguish.” Jeremiah 33:3. Here is a thought to selah. Can you handle what He has for you if you knew? Do you want to be aligned with what has already been written. “Then I said, “Behold, I come to the throne;
In the scroll of the book it is written of me.” Psalm 40:7. You are not the same person that you were last month, last week and not even yesterday. That is one of the many reasons that you need to understand that your design has many mysteries that are hidden for the appointed time. You have to be prepared to carry out the plan. What He has given you this year could not be handled last year.

The word ‘miry’ in Hebrew is yaven. It is described as a thick, sticky and muddy substance, symbolizing being trapped in difficult and dangerous situations. But the reach of the hand of the Father, pulls you up and out, places you in a place of close proximity to Him for the intimacy that you need. Holding you steady, His touch changes everything. The enemy wanted you to believer that you were stuck and there was no way out, bringing you despair.

The mud is a part of the makeover for your reconstruction for the forming and the filling for your next. “And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so, he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.” Jeremiah. 18:4 KJV. When you were lifted out of the miry clay, you were marred with the enemy’s devices. But the touch of the Father changed everything and the ridges of revelation were left as a fingerprint marking and sealing you. It seemed good to the Father as he took pleasure making you again another. As you are constantly being developed over time, here is a thought to remember. “I still have many things to tell you, but you can’t handle them now.” John 16:12. MSG.

The result of the make over is the new song coming out of you. Chords from heaven. A sound that has not been in the earth before is coming out of you. The heavenly sound produces an atmosphere because of the touch of intimacy that has left a mark that cannot be erased. What will you new dong fill you with? For it is time, the season to awaken the gifts that you do not know about to flow. There is joy in receiving the revelation of the mystery because you have been designed to carry it. It is unexpected, uncommon, unusual, the uncoded that is supernatural.
