A few days ago I posted an article on Authorsden titled, “The Pendulum of Life.”  In the introduction to this article, I wrote these short paragraphs: 

“Imagine, if you will, that your life is a pendulum hanging from a chain.  Every breeze of Nature, every comment 
of persons in society, every event of chance and circumstance affects the motion of your Pendulum of Life. 
These are cosmic influences that you cannot control.  

“What you can control is your sense of direction--your guideline and compass--which governs your stability and
minimizes adverse reactions to these cosmic influences.

“With the personal magic of these twelve simple words you can change your life forever by taking control of your
own Pendulum of Life.”

And then I presented these twelve words:

“What I focus upon becomes reality.

 I have the power to choose.”

My article made an impression on someone very dear to me.  Let me share with you below what happened and what I did about it.
