Karen Dunn, Author
"Oriental Secret of E.V.A." (soon to be published)

August 19, 2002

Dear E.V.A.

I have a dachsund/terrier named Samantha. She will be 15 years old the end of September and is the "love of my life." I came close to losing her April of this year. Her heart was grossly enlarged and pressing on her trachea, closing off her breathing. As a result, she came down with two different bacterial infections and she was on 3 different antibiotics, heart medicine, water pills. Her thyroid was low so another medicine added to the list.

It was touch and go for over a month and there were times her energy was so low that I could see her spirit start to roam. I know she had one paw on earth and the other already on the other side. I was torn between nursing her to health (hopefully) and worrying that she could be suffering too much and driving myself to distraction on whether or not to help her cross over.

I am a professional in animal communication and was not sure if I was receiving her message or if it was my imagination. One day, when fretting about this decision with a friend, she slowly walked out from her resting place under my desk and very loudly for both of us to here said with pure indignation "Quit talking about my dying. I am not ready to go. When that time comes, I will let you know."

As she slowly started to heal, she conveyed to me through this wonderful ability of mine to talk to animals that she was thoroughly enjoying her life on earth as a dog and loved being with me. Another problem soon became apparent. She had developed some neurological problems, had trouble opening her mouth, especially in the morning. She required help eating her breakfast as her body trembled with spasms from this disorder and her teeth chattered. Her back leg would kick out involuntarily, then both of her back legs would just collapse and she would fall. At first, I was completely shaken up and again -- her indignation came out full force --"not to hover over her and if she fell to let her just get up and if she was in trouble then I could help." I obeyed.

We developed a pattern in the mornings. Washing her face and ridding her eyes and nose of allergic dried up mucous, giving her Gatorade and then the thyroid medicine, being unable to pick up her food from her plate with her mouth, she would allow me to finger and spoon feed her.

I have fibromyalgia, graves disease, chronic fatigue and glaucoma. I have intently searched the Internet to study these diseases. I could write a book on what I know and some of the ridiculous answers that seem to be out there are incredible. In the meantime I have spent a fortune on trying everything on the market that claimed to help any of my problems.

After much prayer, research and meditation, I had a miracle happen August 14, 2002 in the presence of a feisty, effervescent, bubbling, bit -- of a redheaded woman named Karen Dunn who came to talk to me about Craftmatic Adjustable Bed benefits.

As it turned out that wasn't the only thing we talked about. The universe spawned a tremendous storm during that time and she was basically captive at my place. We talked extensively about nutrition, and circulation and my health problems. Samantha's problems and conditions were obvious.

Karen introduced me to E.V.A. I had never heard of it and was willing to try it. After all, I tried everything else hadn't I ? I GUESS NOT ! ! !

The next two days, I hurt like hell and wasn't sure about it. I was used to the quick amphetamine type of energy that hit immediately based on all the other products I have tried. I was anxious and willing to give E.V.A. the "whole bottle treatment." I know that it takes time to remedy problems that have vicitimized my body for over twenty-some years.

Friday evening, this redheaded angel dropped off some treats for Samantha and my cat Sati. I only let her give them just a few. Thank goodness, because I'm not sure I would have been able to control what happened the next day.

Saturday morning, Samantha seemed quite normal even though more alert than usual. I went out to lunch with a good friend and when I returned around 1:30pm. This is what occurred...

I have piddle pads for Sam and everything seemed very quiet and normal. She was acting a bit antsy like she needed to go outside. So, out we went and what happened next was SHOCKING and hysterically funny. We did our normal routine -- walking to the end of a building along the side of the quadrant. It was sweltering, I turned her around to go back home -- and all hell broke loose. She wasn't on a leash ----

With her illnesses, she walks very slowly. Matter of fact, our old 10 minute walks now take over 30 minutes. Let me tell you, it was like I hit a start button and she tore a** down the sidewalk to the end -- hit 2nd gear turned the corner and tore down the next sidewalk. I was running at top speed to try to get to the back gate to let her in. She ignored it and tore past our yard, shifted into 3rd and rounded another corner with me in hot pursuit. She shifted into 4th as she turned the last corner and barreled down the front walk. I am really pumping to get to the front door to let her in. She jumped on the front step, made a 180 degree turn, shifted into 5th gear and tore off again. I made a dive and grabbed the end of her a** and knocked her down in the grass. I grabbed her before she could get up again and we went into the house. The 30 minute walk took all of 3 minutes.

The interesting thing about this was the 180 degree turn. She has developed neurological problems and her back legs very often just collapse and she falls. On this turn, she turned with the old agility and flexibility she used to have and her legs were strong. My mind was racing with everything I was seeing and experiencing --I was between amazement and disbelief. This is a dog that has energy so low at times that I have to check her to see if she is still alive and breathing.

We were both panting from the exertion and heat and I was in tears from laughing myself sick. Her eyes were still crazy looking and she was laughing as well, saying "gee, that was soooo much fun, let's do it again." I said "no -- too hot."

This was a pure miracle. She hadn't done that for over a year and a half. A little bit later, it dawned on me that I TOO was running at top speed without passing out or falling down and yes, I was panting, but didn't feel like I was dying.

Do I believe in E.V.A.? Do I have Samantha and Sati on E.V.A. YES, YES, YES! ! !

Is she still going top speed? No. Sunday found her somewhat stiff from exerting and using muscles that hadn't been used for months and months. However, after her weekly bath that day, she ran an Olympic mile in the house in circular laps that the layout permits. Her attitude, alertness and sweetness has increased. She has been up just about all day today. That too is a big change.

My alertness, physical energy and mind clarity is greatly enhanced. This is a great benefit. I am a professional in animal communication, psychic readings and life coaching the universal laws and principles and personal counseling.

Most importantly, is how I feel inside. There is a sense of wellness, peace of mind, calmness and I feel happy. I'm sure my little Samantha feels the same way.

All I can say is "Thank You Karen for entering our lives and introducing us to a wonderful, natural product and your wonderful friendship."
