1-Save your sanity. Refuse to let frustration rule your life. Cultivate times of thoughtful solitude and spiritual meditation and prayer.
2-To save the gifts you’ve been given share them with the world.
3-Save your creativity, use it daily and stretch it to new limits.
4-Save your time, use it on important things and worthy people. Don’t squander it on useless pastimes and people who have no appreciation for it.
5-Save your material resources, always keep a little back for hard times.
6-Save your tears, no one can hurt you unless you allow them to. Find good and safe people to share your heart and truth with and protect yourself from those whom you know cannot honestly return your love or retain your trust.
7-Save your friendships.Be the kind of friend you would want for a friend. Be supportive and appreciative of your friends.
8-Save your health. Develop healthy habits and take care of your body and mind.
9-Save your conscience and honor, do unto others as you’d have them do unto you.
10- Save your love. Be the kind of companion your loved one needs. Never expect more than you are willing to give. Put no limits on your love and care.
11-Save your dreams, don’t let them slip away. Dreams do come true , prayers are answered.
12-Most important, save your faith, you are going to need it. Don’t let anything or anyone destroy or undermine it.

Some of these I am doing...you are inspirational, Belle!
Thank You!
Prudent sentiments, Belle. But the passionate contrarian in me tells me to shed tears freely for there is no end to sorrow or to joy, to dream new dreams when the old ones seem lost and thus see hope reborn, to love freely and thereby shed more tears and smile at the horror of eternity, to shed faith and wear proudly the mantle of hopelessness and thus live in hope! And lo! All things are mirrored in eternity and the spirit runs free! You made me think! Blessings on you this season and all seasons to come.
Ahhh . . . Special words, if adhered to, will make for a happy and wholesome life. Actually Number 1 pretty much takes care of all the rest in my opinion.
Love your new image, but the old one wasn't that bad. I know, women just have to change things. ;-) I have been saving all my life and now I'm spending all my energy and love as fast as I can with friends and family. It's a big help with my sanity, my health and my creativity.
Speaking of creativity, if it weren't for my dreams I wouldn't have any stories to write at all. That's what I'm doing, saving my dreams in short stories everyone can enjoy. And speaking of saving, my mother wrote recipes on 3 x 5 cards since she was in home economics in high school. A fabulous cook, she just sent me all of those recipes and I will attempt, in the next few months, to scan every one (in her easy to read, longhand) and put them up on the Internet in a site dedicated to her, for everyone to use.
This book presents a narrative story of one person's journey of transcendental Awakening and Enlightenment as guided by his two Sage companions. It is grounded in Zen Buddhist and Taoist perspective and uses the I Ching as its structural framework. T
Thank You!
Always,
Deborah

I love saving creativity, don't you?
Have a great new year, and many more.
