I like nonsense, too. But Dr. Seuss was very good at serious topics in his seemingly childish stories. I remember one story and I can't remember the name of it, where a young man learned out make a product from a tree on the island that he lived. He was so successful with that product that he built a huge plant to manufacture the product. Before long he had cut down all the trees on the island and could no longer produce a product.
We are doing just that. Cutting down all the trees around the planet.
