A little gift of happiness. Just be nice.

I like nice things. I like to be nice.

I don't really care if being nice is in fashion or not.

It's just me.

This is a list of ten nice things to do

for other people that don't cost a penny.

1-First of all, smiling is free and it makes you feel better.

I know everyone has problems but isn't it better to solve them

with a smile on your face rather than a bitter scowl at the world.

The world did not create your problem. It is more how you

look at the world from where you stand right now.  This too, shall

pass, so why not smile?

2-Do not gossip and refuse to listen to it. Most of the time, someone

has a grudge of jealousy and that is just sour grapes. Jealousy

is fear turned upside down. Listen, there will always be someone

who has something better than you. Why not just be glad you

have yourself? You are good enough. Be happy with who you

are this moment. Let the gossips talk. It's just words. Who needs

mean words? Not me.

3-Try to find one thing each day to be thankful for. No matter how

hard or difficult life is, there is always something to be thankful for

even if it is your health. Health is by far very important. So take

care of yourself and you can be a better person for it.

4-Give of yourself. If someone needs help, offer to help them if you can.

Just make sure you know what you are doing.  Don't always be

there but if you feel that you can, go for it.

5-Relax! I can't emphasize this enough. I know from experience.

I tense up very much and I find that if I take even a half hour to be alone

and walk, I feel more centered and happy inside my heart.

6-Be an optimist!! Trust me, if you expect the best, the best

will come to you!  Even when things look bleak, always look

for the silver lining. Be an optimist and you will never go wrong.

Why do you want bad things to happen to you. I sure don't. Much

healthier to be optimistic and funloving!! Trust me, people don't

want to be around a sad , sour puss. Smiles keep you young

inside and life is too short to be sad. Cheer up , it can't be that bad!

7-Be a good listener.  Some people love talking so much that

they forget to listen. And often their talking drowns out a friends

need for assurance and care. Listen and remember talk is cheap.

Listening is much better. If you do speak, speak sincerely.

8-Be honest and trustworthy.  Have integrity in your words and

your actions. If you say you are going to do something, do it. If you

are unable, just be honest about it. The truth is always best.

9-Just be yourself!

10-Love life and each day! Your sunny attitude is contagious.

Happy Holidays!!

And Keep Christmas in your heart!!

Merry Christmas

I think you made all great points to a happy and well intentioned Holiday Season, as Santa at the mall I see so much both good and bad but if people would just take the time to be nice...what a difference it would make.
