A Baptist Church in Central Mississippi has a wildlife supper once a year to reach out to others in the community who otherwise might be intimidated by regular church services..

The First Baptist Church of Magee, Ms. recently hosted a wildlife supper to invite town folks and neighbors from surrounding areas to come by for food and fellowship. Brother Buddy Keyes the pastor welcomed everyone warmly and led everyone in an opening prayer. Church members cooked : BQ pulled pork, wild boar, smoked deer sausage, and several different delicacies... Entertainment was a young group of men from Brookhaven, Ms called: "Dogwood Outdoors" This group of Christian men give the message of Christ thru their wild animal calls like: turkey, deer, and portray their outdoor experiances thru the animal calls and video to bring the message of Christ to others in a non- pressing way. The evening ended with all a full belly and it was enjoyed by guests and church members alike. - Melanie Calvert
