Serial killer on the loose in Nevada? Some believe he's still in the area.

Many of you may remember the missing 19 year old Nevada college student, Brianna Denison. Well apparently, police believe that she was the victim of a serial killer. DNA recovered from her body matched the DNA found on other victims. They recovered her body in a brush-covered area near a business park. She died through strangulation.

Police believe this serial killer is sexually motivated (most are!). The description they have on the killer is 28-40 years old, 5'6, with a long face and brown hair. They believe he lives in the Reno, Nevada area. Apparently police investigators have publicly said that the killer may live and work in the area. They actually give the possible areas of Reno.

The fact that they released so much information tells me two things. First, they really have solid information that he does live near the campus where the victim attended school. Secondly, there is a real fear that he will probably strike soon, very soon.

Most times investigators try to keep information like this from the public, so as to not "tip" off the suspect. But it sounds like they really believe the public should be warned quickly. To my readers who reside in the Reno area, please be careful!
