Are the crimes of police officers just as bad as other common criminals? Do some think like other criminals?

This is the 100th article I've written over the course of a year pertaining to bad cops and their unfair practices. Over the course of that year I received many emails from various people. My guess is that about 80% of you already knew that some police officers are simply criminals wearing a uniform. The other 20% that use to email me have slowly diminished. I only get a trickle of mail from these people. Why? They can't argue anymore when they see the arrest of soo many cops shown on national television and reported in the media for crimes.

Most times these people were only defending a family member, friend, or a good deed they remembered perform by a cop. You can't even find a cop that won't admit that some cops are bad! If you read my book COP OUT, you'll be surprise what some cops will do! Please keep in mind, we are speaking about rogue (bad) cops.   

Having said that, I had one lone email among many emails from an individual that said, " Robert, even when police officers are arrested their crimes are not as serious as when common criminals commit crimes". This guy is obviously a police officer, related to a cop, or was just released from the hospital after waking up from a coma. Whenever a sworn police officer commits a crime it's serious.

So for my 100th article I decided to write about the arrest of a cop that should quiet this person rather quickly. This particular arrest happened some months ago but when you read it you'll know why it stayed on my mind. As usual, all  are innocent until proven guilty! You may google the story yourself.

Baton Rouge, Louisiana Police Officer Jim T. Rogers,  29, was charged by members of his police department with two counts of rape and kidnapping. The officer allegedly in one rape picked up a citizen, drove her to a location, and not only raped her (would you want this to happen to your wife or young daughter) but urinated in the victim's mouth! Yes, accused of forcing the victim to drink his waste! In addition, according to the victim, he then stood above her and urinated on her body!

Now if that case doesn't prove that crimes committed by officers are serious than what can one further say. A question to the individual that prompt me to revisit this story, how would you like it if that happened to you? Yea I thought so! Oh, I forgot to mention, the cop was charged with another rape that allegedly happened three days earlier! Enough said!
