From After-School to Invention U. there are educational opportunities for you to learn, How to become an Inventor.

Every child is an inventor, and everything in the world is new to a child. Being around them, perhaps leading an after-school science workshop, will help you to recall that wonder of exploration that you have always had within.

Start by seeing what inventing is about, what it's like. Try on the inventor's hat. A great place to start is the Smithsonian Institution. If you are not in Washington, D.C. then visit your local museums. Another good one is the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Michigan.
