It's Time to Face the Facts

The topics of homosexuality and “gay marriage” are steeped in deceit--attempting to make something evil appear to be good--seeking to make a civil right out of what is morally wrong.  We have been told that homosexuals are not attracted to others who are straight, but that’s a lie.  They demand to be called, “gay” when nothing could be further from the truth.  There is nothing gay, joyful, or lighthearted about sexual perversion, especially when the threat of AIDS is present. 

No one who has ever been to Maine can be much surprised about that state’s adoption of gay marriage.  After all, one of the most common Mainer traits is to describe something as wicked good--a complete contradiction as well as an oxymoron, if ever there was one.  

Unfortunately, there has been a rash in recent years, of states adopting horrible laws like this same-sex marriage policy.  There have been many more states that have passed bans on same-sex marriage, tragic as it is that these laws are even necessary.  This is why we need a Constitutional Amendment defining marriage as the union of one man and one woman, and so that no judge panel of judges can change it. 

Aside from the irreparable damage same-sex partnerships do the our society, the overwhelming personal damage is done to children.  Homosexuals, of course, deny this, but the truth is well-documented--that homosexuals are 20 times more likely to
abuse children than heterosexual men.  (See http://www.frc.org/get.cfm?i=IS02E3).  Sanctioning these same-sex partnerships subjects children to abuse on an enormous scale.  During the Clinton administration, and following the death of Matthew Shepard, the FBI was tasked to compile data on violence done to homosexuals.  They did this.  Contrary to the expectations of homosexual advocates, the facts do not show that the overwhelming number of violent acts done to homosexuals are hate crimes. 

The country entered this road to social destruction with the state of Vermont, where that state’s Supreme Court ordered the legislature to fashion a law that gave homosexuals and lesbians the same rights as married people, or the court would do so.  Clearly, the arrogant justices sitting on Vermont’s highest bench, believed the judicial branch to be the highest authority in Vermont’s government.  Despite protests from Vermont voters, and promises to expel from office, legislators who bowed to the high court’s demand, a domestic partnership bill was formed, adopted and signed into law by former Vermont governor, and presidential candidate, Howard Dean.

Supporters of same-sex marriage, call themselves “progressives,” but this too, is a lie.  There is nothing remotely like progress in over 2000 years of steady movement toward ending sexual immorality, followed by a 2000-year freefall back to the perversions of the ancient Greeks and Romans.  It was after all, the sick sexual appetites of the Romans that led to the demise of their empire.

There are many reasons why homosexual marriage is wrong, but here are a few.  Taxpayers will be forced to subsidize homosexual relationships,  homosexuals who are government employees, will demand that taxpayers provide healthcare benefits to their homosexual partners, and homosexuals have higher rates of physical diseases, mental illness, and substance abuse than the public at large. The risk to children is real, severe, and permanent.   http://www.frc.org/brochure/the-top-ten-harms-of-same-sex-marriage.  We need to stop asking the majority of Americans to give up their rights in favor of another tiny minority.  Homosexuals account for only 2% of the US population. Homosexuals claim that they deserve the same opportunities as healthy, married people, to social acceptance of homosexual partnerships, because it’s really about love.  But any relationship that begins with sex, and is based on sex is not about love, it’s a about lust, doomed to fail. 

Contrary to the protestations of homosexual activists, homosexuality is NOT hereditary.  As anyone who has not otherwise indoctrinated can clearly see, homosexuality is abnormal, abhorrent, perverse, and wrong.  We have had it right for thousands of years--homosexuality did not suddenly become right because the APA (American Psychiatric Association) said so, and it never will be anything other  than evil.  

Thomas Jefferson once wrote, the great principles of right and wrong are clear to any reader; to know them requires not the aid of many counselors.  Sadly, that is not the truth in the America in which we live today.  Homosexuality is a twisted perversion of sexual behavior--a fact that is self-evident.  It occurs only in human populations, never in animal groups, and somehow we seem to believe that we are the more intelligent species. 

I believe that the United States is heading swiftly for a second civil war.  The issue of this second civil war will be gross immorality, and the righteous or rebels will prevail.  America has a history of successful self-government because our ancestors have tried to do what was right, honest, and good.  We do not have a history of embracing such disgusting perversities as homosexuality, bisexuality, and transgender, and we must not start now.
