This is an illustration of what's wrong with Washington. More corruption will not make anyone's lives better--only more miserable.

On September 28, 2016, former U.S. Senator, John Warner of Virginia--a one-time Republican--announced his endorsement of Democrat presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton.  This is not the first time the RINO (Republican-in-name-only) senator betrayed his party, the people of Virginia and members of the armed services.  John Warner previously endorsed Democrat, Mark Warner for U.S. Senate, even though the policies promoted by Mark Warner were radically liberal and completely contrary to policies advocated by the former senator when he was in Washington.  Warner also failed to oppose Bill Clinton’s slide toward perverting the military known as “Don’t Ask; Don’t Tell.”

It would be interesting to know what the former Senator John Warner was paid or promised for his endorsement, although such knowledge would simply lead to quibbling over the perceived moral superiority of prostitution versus whoredom--a meaningless endeavor.  In his remarks, Warner said, “Loose lips sink ships.  Got it Trump?”  It’s unclear to what Warner might have been referring, but the senator must have forgotten that it was Hillary Clinton who put classified information at risk of interception by America’s enemies with her illegal server, not Donald Trump. 

Hillary Clinton sold access to the State Department in exchange for “donations” to the Clinton Foundation.  This amounts to conspiracy to commit bribery or worse.  What no one has yet publicly demanded to know, is whether or not Obama was aware of Clinton’s unsecured server and when he knew it.  Nor has anyone publicly speculated whether or not she may have put classified information at risk intentionally in exchange for cash or favors from foreign states.  Neither the F.B.I. nor the Justice Department can be trusted to answer these questions. 

Mrs. Clinton repeatedly refused requests for additional security by U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens in Benghazi.  When the embassy was attacked, Clinton stalled for hours and military troops nearby had to violate orders in order to help those who were under fire from Muslim terrorists.  Four Americans died at Benghazi including Ambassador Stevens.  When questioned by Congress, waving her arms wildly, Clinton callously asked, “What difference does any of that make now?”

Upon meeting with the family members of the Benghazi dead, Hillary Clinton knowingly lied, telling them that the attack was spontaneously precipitated by an internet video.  She failed to provide adequate security to the U.S. Embassy, failed to defend Americans who worked there, and then lied about the cause of the attack. 

One reason for Clinton’s incompetence in Benghazi may be related to Sidney Blumenthal.  Blumenthal, longtime consultant to Bill and Hillary Clinton, was banned from working at the State Department, but was paid $10,000 per month by the Clinton Foundation as a deal-maker for businesses that sought opportunities in Libya.  Blumenthal is scheduled to testify before Congress later this month.  We may never know what Ambassador Stevens knew about Blumenthal’s activities in Libya.

Hillary Clinton is an un-indicted criminal who violated numerous U.S. Espionage laws.  She failed or refused to protect the U.S. Embassy in Benghazi.  She has repeatedly lied to the American people, to Congress and to the F.B.I.  She put U.S. classified information at great risk or worse.  The only reason that she has escaped justice is cronyism in the Obama administration or perhaps, the administration was also involved.
For former Senator John Warner to endorse Hillary Clinton as president is fully within his rights.  But to claim that he has any viable reason to do so is offensive and utterly false.  Senator Warner has betrayed his party, his fellow Virginians, the U.S. military, and now, the American people. 

Voters may choose to support Hillary Clinton for a variety of reasons.  But none of these excuses is defensible.  Mrs. Clinton is a terminally-corrupt incompetent liar.  Nothing she says can be trusted.  She is not a leader.  She has betrayed her oath of office, and yet claims, “I made a mistake; I take responsibility for that.”  But she has not accepted responsibility for anything in her 30 years in politics.  She always has a ready excuse for why nothing is her fault.

Clinton has said that her brain “short-circuited.”  She denied being briefed on the proper procedure for securing classified information.  She is the most corrupt and unfit candidate for the office of president in American history.  This is not someone who can be trusted with the immense responsibilities of the highest office in the land.  Hillary Clinton is the face of political corruption in Washington.  She is the manifestation of Democrat policies that have repeatedly failed to serve and protect the people.  Democrats are becoming increasingly unfit for any public office.

Fortunately, we have an alternative.  Donald Trump is a successful leader who knows what it will take to repair the damage done by Democrat corruption and incompetence, and he will do the job that others have forsaken.  There is no viable or honest reason not to elect Donald Trump.  There are excuses, but there are no honorable reasons.
