The best way to experience the striking difference between Democrats and Republicans is to work the polls.

Those who remain naive of who Democrats really are, can correct this deficiency in their education very simply by volunteering to work at the polls during a presidential election.  In an effort to be on good terms with others, most people will graciously attribute to them, certain positive character qualities until they prove themselves undeserving.  When it comes to Democrats, the proof is readily available.

My wife and I volunteered to distribute voter guides and sample ballots to people at our regular polling location on behalf of the Republican party.  Our experience and the observations of others with whom we worked were strikingly identical.  By and large, the majority of voters accepted the material we gave them, politely and happily.  Many voters returned to reveal to us for whom they cast their votes and why.  A few even thanked us for donating our time and effort. 

We estimated that Trump voters outnumbered Clinton cronies by four to one.  We found that Trump supporters were from all races, ages and education levels.  These folks were happy, friendly, eager and kind--toward us and one another.

Approximately ten minutes into our work, each of us discovered that Democrats can be identified by their approach to polls.  Democrats marched to the polling station with scornful countenance as if they were ready for a fight.  Some were nearly snorting fire and smoke.  Lightning bolts flashed from their eyes.  Their heads were down and they rushed the building like longhorn bulls ready to ram the doors.  Maybe they were responding to our red clothing.   

Democrat voters would turn-up their noses at our material and contemptuously shake their heads, curse under their breath or make guttural noises.  Some would take the flyers and crumple them as they charged the doors.  Others would accept the flyers, walk two steps and then return to shove them back at us as if we had just handed them a live grenade.  They were rude, obnoxious, belligerent and mean.  Perhaps they knew that their mission was already a lost cause.

Earlier in the season, I volunteered to make telephone calls on behalf of the Trump campaign.  The Democrats I called were similarly unpleasant.  One man told me, “I don’t like this,” just before he slammed the phone down. 

A woman I called cut me off in mid-sentence saying, “I’m a lifelong Democrat,” prior to abruptly ending the call with a bang.  I recall thinking to myself, Why do you think you must continue to be stupid for the remainder of your life?  No, of course I didn’t say it. 

Others would simply cuss, verbally attack, and/or strike the telephone against the nearest hard surface.  I tried to remind myself that these are the self-professing “tolerant” and “open-minded” Democrat voters.  Perhaps they are all just having a bad day.  Actually, I think Democrats are all having a bad life.

Many people are blind to the fact that the Democrat party is not now and has not been, the organization they believe it to be since 1968, and they are rigidly stubborn in their refusal to recognize the truth that the Democrat party has been overtaken by socialist kooks. 

Nevertheless, the modern Democrat party is the party of Jim Crow, the KKK, domestic terrorism, public corruption and government-controlled media and schools.  For all of the howling on the Left about Donald Trump’s refusal to pre-accept the results of the election, it is the Democrats who are refusing to accept the outcome.

Democrats and the media are calling for Donald Trump to “reach out” to the defeated Hillary supporters.  Many are telling us what Trump needs to do in order to unite the nation.  Nonsense.  Donald Trump and Republicans won the presidential election and extended their congressional lead.  It is Democrats who need to reach out and work for unity. 

The November election was a crushing repudiation of Barack Obama and his legacy of failure.  It was a stunning condemnation of Hillary Clinton and the radical left-wing Democrat agenda.  The Democrat party, with its militant pro-perversion, antagonistic racial divisiveness, judicial tyranny and anti-Christian bigotry, has been sent to the dump and heaved into the pit like putrid rotting garbage.  

Republicans executed an amazing victory against an incompetent, corrupt and mendacious Hillary Clinton, supported by hostile and dishonest media partners devoted to repeating the Democrat lies and distortion.  There is nothing that Donald Trump or congressional Republicans need to do to reach out to the left.  They simply need to accomplish the agenda that President-elect Trump has proposed and that the American people have validated.
