Still think Islam is a "peace-loving religion?" Think again. Read the Qur'an. A lie is a dangerous agent to embrace--it rots its host for as long as he continues to hold it.
While it may appear to be a harmless and generous gesture of kindness to refer to Islam as a peace-loving religion, it’s a dangerous and foolish fallacy. Furthermore, sacrificing truth on the altar of “compassion” is never a noble or honorable act. Islam is neither peace-loving nor is it a religion. Islam is, in fact, a godless cult of murder, torment and misery. It has been so since its creation by the “prophet” Mohammed. Dr. Ravi Zacharias has described Islam as a “state-building religion.” While this truth does not afford non-Muslims license to offend, neither can it be ignored.
The Apostle Paul defines a cult as an organization that teaches of any of three heresies: another gospel, another Lord, or another Spirit. Islam qualifies in all three criteria.
Islam’s gospel is that works of dead ritual and blind obedience to the Qur’an and the Hadith may land the adherent in paradise one day, but there is no certainty of this. Islam’s lord is allah--a bloodthirsty beast of a deity much like the gods of Greek and Roman mythology--who demands a strict and precise response to his demands for butchery and his other craven dictates. Muslims are permitted to deceive because allah is “the greatest of deceivers.” Islam’s spirit is an unholy tormenter of people who commands the torture, rape, beating and murder of women and non-Muslims.
Comparisons between Islam and Judaism or Christianity are as maliciously absurd as they are brutally ignorant. Such equalities are routinely made by godless liberals, Democrats and the stubbornly uninformed. On the other hand, there is very little conflict between the two real religions which worship a righteous, loving and gracious God.
The Qur’an was said to have been delivered to Mohammed by the angel Gabriel while the prophet was in a trance in the desert. Mohammed may have been an epileptic, as he suffered from seizures. He was illiterate, so he wrote no part of the Qur’an himself, but dictated it from memory many years after his “visions.”
Contrary to popular contemporary liberal ecumenical fantasy, the repugnant actions of Islamists are not restricted to a tiny minority of Wahabbe wackos, Taliban tormenters, Boko Haram butchers or ISIS infidels. The same Islamic “faith” that teaches jihad and suicide bombings, incited Muslims in Sudan to exterminate two million Christians in that African nation. This occurred largely during the dismal and corrupt presidency of Bill Clinton.
While Clinton was ordering U.S. troops to bomb Serbia in defense of 200,000 Muslims there, ten times as many Christians were being slaughtered in Sudan. The Sudanese women were raped, the men killed, and young girls and boys were made slaves of their Muslim captors. The boys would often have their Achilles tendons severed so that they could not run away. Bill Clinton was not interested in acting on the Christian genocide in the eastern Africa, perhaps, because there was no personal political benefit to him.
In Surah 4 of the Qur’an, titled Women Muslims are told, “Fight in the way of allah” v. 83.
Verse 89 says, “Do not befriend non-Muslims, execute them wherever you find them.”
Verse 190 of Surah 2, The Cow, directs Muslims, “Fight for the sake of allah.”
The Qur’an becomes more belligerent toward Jews and Christians in later chapters. Muslims are told that they will be blameless if they break a treaty with non-Muslims. They are commanded to fight non-Muslims during the four “sacred months” of the year.
While many facts of Jewish and Christian history are mentioned in the Qur’an, they are revised in bizarre ways that often make no sense. Like most useful falsehoods, it contains a few specks of truth.
Surah 2, called, The Cow states, “Israel said, ‘We will not believe God until we see Him manifest.’ The thunderbolt struck Moses, but allah resurrected the people” v.55.
Later in the same Surah, Mohammed claims, “Israel violated the Sabbath, so allah said, ‘Go ahead and be apes, ostracized.’”
Verse 67 claims, “Moses said, I take refuge in allah from being an ignoramus.”
The world is ablaze with so-called, “religious conflict.” Perhaps it’s time for the people of the United States to tear down the impenetrable wall of separation between Church and state. This illegitimate barrier should be called the Jefferson Wall because it exists nowhere in the U.S. Constitution, but was Thomas Jefferson’s private opinion of how he thought the separation of Church and state should be implemented.
America’s Wall of Separation has done nothing to improve any aspect of our culture over the past fifty years. On the contrary, it has permitted godless government agencies (including our “education system”) to thrive, insulated from the moral and ethical scrutiny that only the Church can provide.
Perhaps, if an honest comparison between Islam and Christianity or Islam and Judaism could be presented without the hate and rage that the obstinately ignorant bring to these discussions, we might see genuine healing, understanding and improvement to more of the people of the world.
Over the past twenty centuries, Christianity has been responsible for virtually every human advance and social benefit. Schools, colleges, universities and hospitals were first established by the Church for the purpose of training men and women to fulfill the Great Commission and to care for the sick and injured. Even science itself, was born within the crucible of the Church in the Middle Ages as an effort to better understand the nature of the God of the universe by understanding the order and purpose of His creation.
Islam should not be revered or coddled. Its captives deserve to be free from the tyranny of brutal men who are slaves to a lie. Muslims need the Savior too.
