Once again, Democrat bullying tactics backfire with the "Walk Away" campaign.

A silent, peaceful revolution taking place in the United States, brought about by gross Democrat corruption and malignant insanity.  The self-described “news networks” will not report the growing trend.  President Trump has accelerated the movement by highlighting the innumerable crimes and anti-American policies of the Obama-Clinton enterprise. 

Walk Away is an exodus from the Democrat party, prompted in part, by the false accusations and hostile antics of the Left.  The president has demonstrated that liberal policies are as senseless as they are futile, and many are watching.  President Trump is proving the British proverb, “Nothing succeeds like success.” 

There is a high cost to being a Democrat today, and the Walk Away campaign illustrates that millions of Americans are deciding that it’s too much to pay.  As a result, honest and open-minded people are leaving the radical liberal party in record numbers.  Their stories explain how they have “come to themselves” and are now supporters of President Trump’s spectacularly successful policies and initiatives.

Stubborn adherence to the Democrat party costs people many precious things.  Among them are:

Moral authority- Through abortion rights and LGBTQ and so-called “transgender” policies, moral authority must be supplanted by self-righteousness for a liberal.  Self-righteous political correctness is the means by which a two-thousand-year moral regression is called “progressive.”  Solomon rightly declared, “There is nothing new under the sun.”

Common sense- Policies that continually fail to achieve any positive stated goal are endlessly renamed, redefined and resubmitted.  Liberal policies have failed every time they have been imposed.

Economic achievement- High taxes, wasteful government spending on unnecessary and counter-productive programs, and wealth redistribution policies are ruinous to the prosperity and lifetime goals of rich and poor alike. 

Personal integrity- The liberal world-view is backward and upside down.  To the Left, truth is relative, right is wrong, sexual depravity is a constitutionally-protected liberty, and uniform law enforcement is condemned as oppressive and racist.  The template reverses, however, when Democrats run the government, and that fact has not gone unnoticed. 

Loss of freedom- Freedom of speech and religious exercise are targeted for oppressive restriction by Democrats, as well as the Second Amendment right to self-defense.  Every government “benefit” comes with a cost—the loss of some measure of freedom or privacy.  This is true whether the benefit is directly paid to the beneficiary or indirectly, as in the case of loans, contract awards or special status. 
       
Secular fundamentalism, as described in the lyrics of singer-songwriter, John Lennon’s song Imagine, has proven itself to be an abysmal and decadent farce.  In fact, the truth of scripture has prevailed, making it clear that, when there is no fear of God before the eyes of man, incalculable destruction and misery will bury any nation.  Indeed, a radical liberal society cannot survive it’s own ideology.

Fortunately, truth resonates in the hearts and minds of the intellectually honest.  The stark contrast between the dismal Obama era and the economic and social revival of the past two years of the Trump administration is too dramatic and verifiable to be ignored or denied any longer.  With the nomination and confirmation of constitutionalist Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court, the days of absurd judicial activism, may soon be nothing more than a fading bitter memory.

There will still be social and ideological upheaval in the United States for years to come.  Democrat politicians, whose personal wealth, future and political power are now threatened, will not repent or simply give up.  Hostile leftist rhetoric will certainly become more radical and obscene in the coming months and years.  But the tide is turning. 

The promise for the American people is that the lies, deception and false implications presented by liberals and championed by their media allies are now being abandoned by many longtime Democrat voters.  The Walk Away movement clearly shows that most people are far more perceptive and honorable than Democrat leaders have assumed. 

We must now welcome those who have come to their senses and help them to reclaim their lives from the scoundrels who have kept them in emotional and economic bondage for decades.  There is no greater threat to the liberal tribe than a defector.  Ex-Democrats are subjected to the same horrible assaults and threats as escapees from the former Soviet Union. 

As with recovering drug addicts and alcoholics, their recovery will not be instantaneous.  But patience and steadfast encouragement will help reformed liberals to return to the real world again.  May Walk Away become a national rallying cry so that America may forever put to death, the destructive and divisive liberal agenda.
