It’s been said that we Americans are the most over weight nation in the world. Yet, who is it that sets the world standard? And by what measuring stick? I would say that is a bit much.

Since every geological area is different in elements, environment and atmosphere. Which means; no one really knows. What we do know is that in order to live we have to eat. We don't live to eat. And in order to keep anything running well it has to be nurtured and used. My point is we have to be active with our bodies to keep them operating and we have to eat. But what? My guess would be enough to sustain life and maintain function and activity. The taste buds on the other hand are a matter of satisfaction. We can place a piece of gum in our mouth and chew on it for a while and taste the flavor. It leaves after while but there’s still that gummy sensation. Which means that if we take more time to savior the flavor; there wouldn’t be so much going into the belly? And if we know it’s going to provide energy as vegetables and protein do. Than we should be planning on doing something. Maybe taking a walk or riding a bike. Why let all that energy goes to waste. And of course we need water. Our body is 75% water and if that’s the case. We properly should try and make sure we got enough of it in us. Plus it can wash away some of that unnecessary stuff. I'm not a doctor, nor do I claim to be anything related. Some things are just a matter of using good common sense. Copyright © 2007 Writing by Dianne Terry All Rights Reserved

Bravo to you! That is what is lacking these days, common sense.
Be safe,
