The need for faith in the presence of adversity

As a nation we have gone through one of the greatest traumas we could imagine on the soil of our great country and we are in the midst of understanding why. In this internal struggle we must keep our minds clear on the truth about humanity. Humanity is a vast collection of differing souls whose purpose is to live their lives in harmony and at peace. As with all species there are mutations within the whole that boggle the mind with how ‘out of the ordinary’ they are. They are the few and as such do not constitute the enormity of the whole.

In the struggle that lies ahead we must remember the faith that built us as a nation and the faith that has sustained us for over 200 years. That faith lies deep within our psyche and is responsible for so many wonderful things. It is that faith that must surface at this time to give us an inner calm that will carry us forth to live our lives fully and without fear.

We must bring forth the faith of our forefather’s and the reverberations of their spirit so that we can have a clear focus on the values that our countries humanity has held up for all to see. It is a faith that lies deep in our ethics, morals, and beliefs as a nation that will carry us forward and remove the blinders that we have willingly put on. We have so much to give and so much to build upon.

Let’s build our world upon principle and faith. Let’s create a determination to cure the cancer’s that plague our world and replace such mutations with a just and pure heart - the heart that is America. In doing this, we will create that new world of peace. It is time to replace fear with compassion, to replace sorrow with faith in tomorrow, and to begin to understand our role in the future.

Let us believe – for in belief you will find the seeds of greatness. You will discover who you are and as such will be able to build a bright and just future. We have entered a time in our world’s history where there is opportunity. There is an opportunity to build a world based on peace, an opportunity to join together as one, and an opportunity to re-visit the faith of our ancestors.

Let us focus upon the good within us, the beauty of a world given to us by a Creator of enormous dimension, and the potential to create a better world. Let us begin to see through the haze of the rubble a vision of a new world. Let us begin within our hearts to grow peace, to help a soul in need, and to prepare our world for future generations.
