I've Been Wondering

I've been wondering lately about many different things. I wonder why we fight wars instead of creating peace. I wonder why we consider ourselves different from each other when we share the same human origins. I wonder why we become embroiled in controversy when we could spend the same energy creating a better world. I wonder…..

I see inequality where equality could be so easily the rule. I see imbalance in a world where balance could be so easily obtained. I see poverty next to riches and wonder why? I awaken in the morning expecting to see the world I see in my dreams but instead see a world distorted by human ambition. I see those in power and those who are powerless and I wonder why?

I watch all that surrounds me with wonder and look carefully each moment to find those tiny moments of bliss that carve a pathway into my heart. I watch birds singing in the trees or catch a view of the ocean and for that moment I only see beauty. It is such beauty which makes me stop, absorb its incredible splendor, and see a better way. In that single moment of awe I see potential, possibility, enlightenment, and joy. I see all that is possible and more.

I wonder how many others feel this way. How many in a single moment of awe see all that can be and ask why. How many then act upon this moment and create a spark of light amid a sea of darkness? How many once exposed to the totality of their abilities press on to become the essence of that vision? Do you?

It is when I ask why and then wonder that my mind becomes in tune with all that I can be. It is when I begin to see even a minute possibility of who I truly am that I gain so much energy and move in the direction of my vision. I can at last see the landmark of my essence and can plot a course toward its beauty. I am no longer lost in a sea of unknowing but am assured of a path that will lead me home.

Today I am wondering. Tomorrow I will wonder again. Is it because deep inside I know the answers and the way to see life differently? Are those answers just waiting to be seen? It is in wondering that you bring life to potential and you begin to unfold the truth of who you are. When I ask why I open a door to possibility and begin a process whereby my life changes. That change can be subtle or profound but it is there just waiting to be released into my world.

Never shy away from the why's of life or become afraid to wonder. Never force yourself to uncover the truth of who you are because by wondering and asking why you will release its beauty into the world without effort. You will create your vision, explode with potential, and uncover a world of possibilities.
