I’ve just returned from a two week hiatus and am energized by the upcoming Holidays. You can’t help but become aware of the materialism present in our society but underneath this frenzy lays the truth of who we are – a people of love and compassion. It is during the Holidays that we get to see this aspect of ourselves as we give to others, see compassion and love in action, and reflect upon our individual beliefs and ideals.

The Holidays are a time of love. We feel so much closer to each other and friendships blossom as we move toward that moment when peace on earth is our creed. This year in particular we are being drawn closer to each other than any in my lifetime. We are facing unbelievable challenges in our world and are being shown how much we need each other every day. Our nation and our world are being drawn together and out of this will come a new world order created out of the need for each other to live in peace.

These are special times in our lives and in the history of our world. It is during such times that our creative instincts take over our lesser instincts and provide the engine to become greater. Using the wisdom of love and the engine of compassion we can unleash our greatest good to create the world of our dreams.

I expect the future to continue to show our ability to show the best of our human nature. As we move through the Holiday Season the memories of our inner compassion will follow us into the world we create. This will echo loudly throughout our history and will show our descendants the real meat of who we were.

Over the next few days allow your heart to feel the joy of the Season, to express itself to others, and to instill its wisdom into the creation of our new world. Love is not just for today but for all days. It is our task to inject its miracle into our everyday world and to use its wisdom as the pillars of our future society. Peace, love, and compassion are the three essentials in our new world order. Keep them close to your heart and use them to build your life anew.
