Short narrative on "Where were you on September 11th?"

It was a beautiful fall day at home in North Texas. I live in Roanoke, Texas which is near the Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport. It started out like any other morning. Mom had gotten up and taken her shower and was reading the paper while the tv show, "The Today Show", was on. While Mom was feeding the dogs, I woke up and took a shower. As I got dressed, the tv went to normal stations and the today show was done with broadcasting. At least I think that is how it went. Anyway, Katie Couric came back on and said it looked like a plane had hit the tower and we did not know if it was an accident or meant to be harm.

Then, in HORROR, I saw the second plane go in and Mom said, "We are under attack!" Mom got a phone call during that time. It was my sister, Kristina. She called to tell Mom something but Mom would not tell me anything. She told me a few days later what it was. She said kris has a brain tumor and lesions in her brain signifying Multiple Sclerosis. Mom was in schock. Kris just moved home this year, May 15th, 2003. Mom now has 2 Disabled daughters living at home. Kris can still drive a car and has started her own business however. In a nutshell, she does work for attorneys from home, and does medical work too like getting records and all.
