I set up two camcorders during this piano lesson with the intention of capturing views from the teacher and student perspective. If I had more video-editing expertise I would have synchronized multiple tracks like ESPN does for their instant replays, etc.

With modest video equipment, I recorded an 8-yr. old's 4th Skyped lesson of which a few snatches are showcased.
The first clip focuses on the supple wrist in practicing pentascales or five-finger positions. (The routine was to play in the Major key followed by the parallel minor, same direction both hands--then a run through in contrary motion)
The pupil started with quarters and worked her way through to 8th notes, 16ths, and finally to 32nds in legato and staccato playings (Forte/piano or Loud/soft)
After her C Major/ c minor warm-up, she continued with the Chopin Waltz number 19 in A minor, Op. Posthumous, in a slowly rendered practice tempo.
After these first two lesson segments, we began work on the Clementi Sonatina in C Major, Op. 36 No. 1, which is not previewed on video.
