Does soul mate exists?

Sometimes we wonder, if we have found the perfect soul mate.The wondering leads to series of events of finding the perfect one.
What happened if you're already in a relationship and still searching for the right person?
The question is why are we still searching when we have the real person in our life.
Take my friend for example, she's in a marriage and she complains that she is not happy being with her husband.What did she do?Yes, she went behind his back looking for another partner.Being in a modern world where you can have access to the internet, it is not so difficult to find someone new.
But the truth behind this is not so exciting,yes she did find someone else, chatting and communicating happily.The new guy always praises her, pay attention and compliments her, which her husband is lacking.
One day, while she was chatting to her new-found lover, he ignored her for a long period.So, she was wondering, little did she know that his wife was sitting next to him and it was showing through the web-cam.
My friend was heartbroken,devastated and felt cheated.Then while she was crying, her husband asked, what's wrong with you?She was just crying, couldn't even utter a single word.
The whole night her husband cook for her, fed the children, tucked her to bed without even complaining.Then, my friend realised, why is she still searching for a soul mate when she has found the perfect one right in front of her eyes.
She told me,being in love is not a matter of seconds but it is for a life time.Love could not be described,being happy is part of it,but the most important things she told me not to be blinded by the romance, the fun and the wild side of things.She said love will only appear when you're in the darkest pit in your life, when you have no one else to turn to, then you will find true love and by chance the great Al-Mighty will find some soul to rescue you.He or she therefore will be your one and truly soul-mate.
I was happy for my friend, now she never complains about finding soul-mate anymore.
