Forgive me for my stubbornness, but I just had a hard time receiving your Love. My perception wasn’t very clear about exactly what I viewed as acts of Love. What you had to give has been clearly Love in its purest form.
While in a secret place, I was complaining about you and what you weren’t giving me. A small still voice whispered gently that it was already being provided and that I hadn’t recognized it. Love was being given but was not in the way that I always imagined it. It was not being given according to my preference, but according to the Giver’s.
May I gently and sincerely say, “I now receive your Love and anything you so freely give.” Love has many faces, and just because I don’t recognize the face, it doesn’t mean it’s not Love. I am now reconciled to Love and to the Giver.
