An Interview with the Author, Obatiaye Cetewayo

Obatiaye Cetewayo’s debut book, “From Plantation Purgatory to the Promise Land,” was published in April, 2007. One the day of this interview, he had just received news that the book would soon be listed on the New Release List by Broker’s Books in Print.
Known to many as Rhonnie Asher, his full name is Rahahn Obatiaye Cetewayo. He has shortened it to “Obatiaye,” meaning – “One with the Father…King of Creation.”
Obatiaye is of Nubian Zulu origins and born on May 21, 1944 on the Motherland Continent of Africa. To his credits, he has been involved in a variety of activities and accomplishments include that of being a professional boxer, poet, song writer, musician, martial arts instructor, mercenary, and world traveler to name a few. Obatiaye speaks nine languages and a variety of different African language dialects. He has been a life time Pro-Black Activist for the advancement of the Blackman Family uniting in oneness.
When asked about the debut book, “From Plantation Purgatory to the Promise Land,” that by his account has been 10 years in the making, he smiles a magnetic smile and says, “This is the season for the “fire of truth” to be revealed. I have come to deliver a divinely inspired message to the lost and scattered tribes of the African-Nubian -Black-Hebrew Slave Descendents, who are under dominance in the white supremacist society upon “Plantation Purgatory,” (America.) This book is meant to motivate and inspire those of the chosen one of HIM (Highest Infinite Majesty) Almighty Yahweh and should be read by every Black man and Black Woman who resides on the Plantation. I do not subscribe to any religious orders, dogmas or indoctrinated institutions. I am not here for fame, fortune, or any personal gain. It is not my aspiration to become a leader of any sect right wing or left wing group. This Man that I AM known as “Obatiaye,” has merely come with the fire of truth to set ablaze all the lies and creators of that indoctrination set forth by the Caucasian dominated race, where it pertains to the Blackman Family. I speak absolute truths of HIM and some may deem my words as that of one who is racist, but truth no less will stand when everything else has been burnt by the fire of truth.”
Obatiaye goes on to say that the key to set the Blackman family free is the discovery of the truth of self. Due to the fact that the disobedience of the forefathers, the original Black-Hebrew, he (the Blackman Family) has been under a curse. Through generations upon generations in the last 500 years, all knowledge of the oneness in HIM and recognition of self in the oneness of HIM have been lost. “A lack of knowledge destroys the people, - and if you don’t know, you don’t know,” he says. “Thus it has been my odyssey to bring about the “truth” of fire. Not everyone will hear and adhere to the truth,” he says, “it is for the chosen and to those who do hear and adhere, the promise is for you.”








Obatiaye explains that the “Plantation Purgatory” he refers to in his book is America;

“Purgatory is where the testing of the soul occurs, and for the Blackman Family thus it has been, a testing period. America represents a place of dreams and illusions and thus amidst all of the religious indoctrination and mayhem and madness that has occurred over the last 500 years has lulled the Blackman Family to sleep. Thus I AM here to awaken and enlighten him (the Blackman Family) in oneness unity to self again. I use the acronym (H-I-M) (Highest Infinite Majesty) to use as a reference to the common term of God. I also use Yahweh, but none is greater than the Highest Infinite Majesty – HIM, but even that goes much further in the overall truth of things.”

Obatiaye continues to say that the struggles of the Blackman Family to be equal with the White dominated race is unnatural. “The adversary has been very subtle and clever in his continual illusions of dominant control only because the Blackman Family has been asleep and has not reawakening himself to the truth of HIM-self yet. Thus I have come to convey the divine message.”
“The Blackman family” Obatiaye says, “must once again come into the Oneness of HIM and of knowing self and return home again- Repatriate - to right the world again. Everything now is in disarray and the sick, dead and dying are wondering about and can only say, “What the hell is happening?” This Plantation (America) is Purgatory is indeed and in fact, “where hell is happening,” says Obatiaye, “and it is on fire and none can see it going on.
The keys to the Blackman Family obtaining his true divine birthright are:

1) Recognition of Self in the Oneness of HIM- Highest Infinite Majesty
- The Spirit of HIM –Almighty Yahweh is within oneself.

2) Repentance –
- Recognition of the disobedience of the forefathers that has lead to the chastisement of the Blackman Family. Denouncing all of the Caucasian dominance in doctrines, life styles, culture, and ideology.

3) Repatriation –
- Returning oneself unto the place of the Motherland – Africa.












In conclusion the author had this to say, “with the events of September 11, 2001 and the Homeland Security issues, one must obtain a passport to leave the “Plantation,” even though, no passport was issued to the African men, women, and children who were force to be bond and shackled and put into the bowels of a boat and had to endure under inhuman conditions. Then was made slaves, stripped of all the original religion, language, and culture, and replaced with indoctrinated ideology of the Caucasian Supremist society.” “This is the subjugated Blackman today under Caucasian dominance” says Obatiaye, “but I am here with the “Fire of Truth.” “Here my words, so sayeth HIM –Highest Infinite Majesty- Yahweh Almighty, so sayeth This Man I AM, Obatiaye. “All of the other cultures and races that you can name have a place to call home except the Blackman family that is here upon “Plantation Purgatory,” America. Repatriate!!!…This is simply not your home!!! Why do you want to remain in a place that you have to continually break down doors in order to remain? It is not natural to use you head as a battering ram to enter into your own home. Is it? Yet that is what the Blackman Family does everyday upon so-called existence upon Plantation Purgatory (America). Obatiaye Cetewayo is available for motivational speeches and lectures.
