50 years ago while at CCNY after a long discussion my essay professor had to accept my (another) essay set in poetic style. As titled, this results from a conservation of a dying man in unexpected total remission.
(rhythm of the strings)
he stands between
water and music
where dreams
fall to waterfall mirrors
and all his screams
call to the silence
I refrain from believing
if to dance
where sight meets
perception
time waters
rhyme on the echoes
of earth rhythms
music man
long finger walks
across string theory
where tomorrow concedes
and only music bleeds
