'Made in America' is this false advertising?

What does the phrase 'Made in America' mean to you?
We live in such a place of freedom, where there are standards, such quality of life, that many of us take that term for granted.
Ever wonder why the national automotive companies are hurting? The foreign auto manufacturers can undercut prices because their workforce is cheaper, and they can streamline the design process to meet the tastes of the public. While we have helped standardize quality and safety to everyone who can do the job, others have folks working dirt cheap making the things we used to make here - and the quality is excellent because their bottom line cost is cheaper, and we buy the products because they are cheaper and quality.
I was shocked as I am sure many of you were with the petfood recalls from Chinese manufacturers - why are we getting food from other places?
We are importing necessary foods, and exporting our crops to other countries-
What is wrong with this picture?
Look at some of the product recalls from China - petfoods, toys, cribs, tires, Leukemia drugs, art sets, toothpaste, cellphone batteries, monkfish (that is probably pufferfish-that's poisonous)

I think it's time someone looked at American business and politics really hard and figure out how to get some of our power back. To make America stand on her own feet again and not have dependence on anyone -
Have you heard of outsourcing?
There are a lot of unemployed folks here - think about that when you're on the phone speaking to a person for customer support that is halfway across the globe - and remember what they told folks on 60 Minutes, to speak to Americans as if they were schoolchildren because they don't understand?
Time to start looking how we can support American farmers, American made products, American workers.
When we lose control of our safety, quality, and are dependent on anyone, it gets a little hairy for me.  
Think about that when we use our cellphones, MP3 players, computers, etc. and see where they were built -
