Lily Evans, a young reseach assistant, marvels at the exhibit of Amisihathor, an excellently preserved tomb recreated in the museum. Lily Evans is not only a great scholar, but an excellent artist. Her paintings of ancient Egypt were what drew Dame Ursula to her. Lily has recreated scenes from the time of Amisihathor.

Seems Lily is also a sensitive, as she touches things of Amisihathor and knows more of her story, Lily sees Amisihathor's life and what happens to have her in this limbo. It is fascinating.

There is so much intrigue - past and present - and love - past and present. And twists a seasoned writer would applaud.

Hope Ms. McLeod is busy with more wonderful books - she deserves to be read and we deserve to read more from her.
