When The Lion's Game, the second of the John Corey books came out, my bookseller told me if I do nothing, buy this book. As much as you didn't like Plum Island, you'll LOVE The Lion's Game. I bought it and it was marvelous!

It was about an Osama Bin Laden-like character who is trying to start mayhem against the unbelievers and came across John Corey, Kate, and the Anti-Terrorist Task Force and boy what a wild ride!

Now after a few books, here comes the Lion, Asad Khalil, again, and he is bent on the destruction of everyone who killed his people in The Lion's Game! Especially the Coreys!

This is set thirteen months after 9/11, there is a lot of violence against agents, and close calls for the Coreys.

I will not give any spoilers, because to even tell more than I have, will accidentally mess up.

Even the ending is a hang onto your hats ending that will leave you begging DeMille for MORE.

This work of DeMille reminds me of the writing style of Dennis Batchelder, who wrote the Soul Identity series - his character is very much like John Corey. You will enjoy the books.

This is a hit out of the part for Nelson DeMille.

Everyone who wants to find Osama Bin Laden will root for this one.

Didn't Senator McClain say in the last presidential debate he knew where Osama Bin Laden was??? OK John, go find him! I bet John Corey could find him!!!!!!

This is a wonderful non-stop book that will have you holding your breath for Kate and John. Well worth buying and definitely reading!!

If you'd like to get Lion's Game to get familiar with the characters, you'll enjoy this book even more.
