I have been asked how long did it take to complete this book.

The Taste of Hate was a work that spanned several years as I was working at the time I began to write. In fact, I started the book at the "ongoing encouragement" of my lovely wife, the person to whom I dedicated my book.

At first, I started just to get her to relax. As I continued on, I got more and more interested in the subject, but then heavy work loads or problems with my case load made me put the book aside.

After 3 years or so, my lovely bride came to me one day and bet me that I would never finish the book. That was all it took. I couldn't let that type of a stab to my ego go unanswered. I finished within the month.

I then found that getting published was an interesting proposition and once I located my publisher, the endless back and forth of getting the edit done. I would like to have actually had one final turn to take care of some spelling I found after completion, but alas, too late. I'll have to be more cautious in my next work, which I guarantee will not take as long!
