As one cannot predict the future, but only can judge from the chain of events, leading up to the shortages of food and supplies...
Have you ever paid $6.99 for a tube of toothpaste for sensitive teeth? - I have!
Have you ever seen the price of your toilet paper jacked up to $15.99/pkg.? - I have!
Do you think just because whatever has been happening is not affecting you yet then it is alright for us to think those aren't the facts of what's really happening?
No! We CANNOT! And it is NOT alright for us to deny the fact that there are people suffering in this world while we sit in the comfort of our homes! We cannot label those news as lies or fake news!
What horrors this world is now facing?!
Each picture of the disaster tells a story behind how many people may have lost their homes, how many lives may have been lost. I am not just talking about the flooding in British Columbia's areas, I am talking about all the recent floods and disasters around the world that the media was not posting.
The latest tragedy to be counted in is the big flood in British Columbia! It is now being added to the list of undeliverable food supplies as food shortages and supplies continue to grow.
The shelves in the supermarkets are empty while people are being airlifted to safety!
The B.C. government issues a warning of a shortage of gas as well and limits the refuelling amount of gas for each. The hiking of gas prices is also prohibited. This is to ensure that the fuel will last, at least, for the next 10-11 days in the disastrous areas.
My heart goes out to the people in the B.C. areas! I hope they will receive a lot of help in clearing off the flood and the landslide, and everything will be back to normal soon.
My love and prayers for my friends in Vancouver and British Columbia and everyone during this stressful time.
More and more cargo shipments and ships are going to be stalling at unloading ports as the shipments are redirected and the lack of skillful unloading (Crane operators) and reloading (forklift operators) workers continues.
