This Lovely Angel Guards A Stone Cross Grave. I am 5'11 1/2" tall & she is about 2 feet higher than me. The Lovely Gravesite Is In My Town, Cedar Lake Indiana behind the Catholic Church. I took these photo's today with my cell phone!!

Lovely Guardian Angel of The Stone Cross;

For Centuries You Stand Frozen In Time;

Within My Respect I Honor all of Your Bequeath;

As Your Beauty Carries into The Millenniums;

Forever To Be Seen In The Hearts Of The Living.

Very interesting montage! Such architecture can beautfiul. A brief sombre but beautiful glimpse into the "other side"

Good prayer for this morning and I enjoy the photo very much. Wish I could run by your town and see it some day, who knows what our futures is only God does at that. I can only hope though right now.

Thank you for your wonderful words and the excellant pictures of this angel. The artwork that goes into some of these tombstones is often breathtaking. There is a graveyard not to far from where I live and one of the markers is a lifesized statue of a bride in her wedding gown. The story goes she passed away the day before her wedding and supposedly haunts the area. If I get up that way this summer I will take some pictures and forward them to you.
