into the inflections of versified rhyme..

The Romantic Poetess

In the rhythm of moods

flushing into the ballad verse,

is the moment when lovers desired

passions disburse…

The sonnet of romance

sings upon verses of inflection,

embracing artistic poets

upon the penned dance of perfection…

A composer of poetic adoration

sings from her heart’s desire,

within cherished poems of reflections

loving duets often admire…

In a collection of verses poetized

upon rhythm and versified rhyme,

to become the romantic poetess

within the prose of words adoringly sublime…

Sweet, short, and simple. A very light piece speaking of the appreciation of your own gift (which is quite a gift indeed)! The song, as always, goes well with the poem. The flowers are a particuarly lovely complement.

Hi Vickie. Yes I think there should be an there and I also think there might be one needed in the last verse after "words" if you mean the adoration of sublime words. To me, it should perhaps read like the this: "...of words' adration sublime..." This poem certainly does express powerfully the essence of your feelings. Thank you for sharing. Love and best wishes,
