When Leah Avondale, a sophomore soccer star, becomes upset with her father’s broken promises and decides to take a trip to see her aunt, it sets off a series of events that eventually lead to her father being arrested for her disappearance and possible murder.

When Special Agent Jonathan Dearfield (JD) of the FBI is called to the case, he discovers a fact in the case that could change his life forever, and only after finding Leah’s secret diary does he find the freedom and the needed details to pursue this case with a passion that comes from his very soul.
