a true friend is hard to find

but any relationship must consist of contact, be it through e-mail, phone calls, or in-person visits.

I have a friend who we'll call Mag. she wants someone to hang out with when she's in town...and other than that she couldn't care less. she had me join some organazation, like myspace or facebook. we sent a few messages back and forth, and she said she got a new car and was coming into town. I said my congrats and told her to look me up. she waited until she was about to leave to e-mail me...I guess she forgot my number?...and said "well I guess it's too late, I have to head back to school now. maybe next time"

I responded with something along the lines of, "ok, well give me a call next time maybe. have a safe trip home"

I didn't hear from her for a few weeks.

my Birthday...which was announced boldly on my profile page and apparantly appeared on her's too under "recent birthday's"...well it came and went and I didn't hear from her. I thought perhaps she was busy.

I went to her profile to leave her a "hello", and noticed that she had been quite active and even been sending her friends little e-cards...

so I feel sort of neglected, sort of like, "why did she have me sign up for this b.s. and then ignore me?". I have always had little issues with Mag...she is not very open to new things, and she constantly ridicules my beliefs, preferences, interests, etc.

I noticed nder this little list of recent convos...my last reply lingering without a response.

I added "...ok then"

that's not all I'd like to say, but it works for me.
