Temptation is everywhere, especially when you’re a young, impressionable high school kid. Peer pressure offers the worst kind of temptation when it includes the evil weed, marijuana. It seems so innocent and fun. What a blast it is the first few times, laughing until your sides hurt. Then it becomes a habit. Before you know it, you’re spending a lot of money keeping up with your habit. But you learn an easy way to support your habit; sell it to your friends.
That’s what got the McKinney brothers started in the business and before they knew it, they were dealing in weight making serious money. They were enjoying the high life. Then one day, their friends and business associates decided that they were getting a raw deal. So they got drunk and went to one brother’s house to air their grievances. But the young McKinney brother wasn’t home. Instead they raped and murdered his young bride. Worse, they never stood trial for the crime. The brothers’ once charmed lives turned into a nightmare overnight. They fled town but vowed to return and take revenge on the perpetrators.
When they returned to central Florida six years later with military training and a serious attitude, they started to execute their plan. But the plan took on a life of its own. The brothers didn’t know which way to turn. Should they intervene or simply stay out of the way? Who was doing their job? Would revenge taste as sweet if not by their hands?
