Deerfield Beach’s Director of Tennis, Dave Oechsle, welcomes the addition of the Rineberg Tennis Training Academy (RTT), to its yearly program. The Director of the RTT Academy is professional tennis coach, Dave Rineberg, who started his tennis coaching career right here at the Deerfield Beach Tennis Center location some 20 years ago. Rineberg has gone off to coach a multitude of national, college and professional tennis players including a seven year stint he spent with the top two American female and former #1 players, Venus & Serena Williams. Rineberg has published a book about his time spent with the famous duo titled, Venus & Serena, My Seven Years as Hitting Coach, which are available at all fine bookstores.

Rineberg's passion and belief is that great tennis players can be developed in urban settings, while still having the opportunity to live at home, pursue their educational goals, and participate in a variety of extracurricular activities. Through community outreach, Rineberg will work to recruit the most highly motivated young athletes in the Greater South Florida area and beyond. “I’m so excited to be back in Deerfield Beach, FL where I began and I plan on giving back to the community in every way I can,” says Rineberg. Director of Tennis Dave Oechsle says, “One of the main reasons I chose the RTT Academy program is because of their Give-Back program, which provides free tennis lessons and exhibitions for the community every month. I like to see the kids be inspired.”
