Jerry Brown overturning Proposition 8 should be no surprise to anyone. The poor guy has spent a lifetime protesting the status quo, and in his waning years on planet Earth, Jerry wants to go down in history with a little more notoriety than the guy who was dating Linda Ronstadt. As for the will of the people? As citizens of California, we all know the answer to that one: There is no will of the people, it’s mob rule by the special-interest group with the most money that makes the most noise.
Unfortunately, TSC, that is the 'way of the world,' in which we live--not just California. Most people don't read, analyze, or disern the truths behind shallow words penned by creative minds for the purpose of persuasion, deceit, and perpetuation of their own self-interest. If you happen to believe, as I do, that (as someone has said) "Life is the childhood of our immortality," then you know that those who undermine what is good ie. morality, integrity, and justice, will face the consequences of their deeds in another time, another place.
From the land of the milked and honeyed here’s a few political faux pas and a bit of attitude exposed to the harsh light of a Canadian who actually has their own opinion.
