Enjoying my Sunday coffee, I stumbled on to a reader who said, 'It's time to say sorry'. Well, what a relief; finally someone is going to finally ask Thaksin to express his deep sorrow for all the turmoil he has caused, or perhaps the letter writer will finally ask that the yellow shirts make a formal apology for shutting down both airports last year during Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Boy, was I wrong! The letter writer, wants a full apology from the United States for all of the world's problems, from global warming, human rights violations, nuclear proliferation, to all the failed economies of the world, and God knows what else.
Why not? America has always been the harbinger of everything bad in uneducated poverty-stricken eyes, and so-called third world countries can only hope for America's demise. So let's continue to fix the blame and not fix the problems, and not look at what we can do to improve our world.
