A mental flash and had to put it down for you.

Why Write?

Why write, I say to myself.
No one listens.
I repeat, “Why write”?
Still no other voice is heard.
I write, I actually write and let others read.
Now they listen.
At least, politely, they say they do.
That is why you write and post.
Not to post means no one knows you said a word.
How can they listen if you aren’t saying anything.
I find I love the feeling of writing, even more the ecstasy of someone listening.
Not always do they comprehend what I have written.
But they are pleased that someone has done that for them. That is pleasure to them.
When they actually smile with understanding, then that is pleasure for me.
So, I continue to write and often to post.
Listen carefully, there is something in this you need.

Cliff, you've said it well. We write because we love to write, we post because we want to be read. Keep writing, Cliff. Anything worth doing is also worth continuing.
