The authorsden.com booth at the Los Angeles Festival of Books buzzed with readers seeking new titles, authors signing their works, and the cash register ringing up sales.
Authorsden did a great job of making sure the authors had their posters up, their pens ready, and felt comfortable greeting the public.
Hundreds of people stopped by to take a look, and many walked away with a purchased book or two.
A big thank you to the AD staff for their consideration and coordination.
And though UCLA is dearest to my heart, I have to admit USC organizers did a great job with maps, directions, and general helpfulness.
The traffic is endemic to LA--it's the way we roll (or don't) around here.
That's about the way I felt the past two years when I did the Book Fair.
