When everything materially in totality is gone, swept away from it’s existence and our control, then and only then are we truly enlightened as to what should have been and more pointedly now, should forever be; the lives of ourselves and others, but more importantly, the only things that ever matter in the past, present, and future, eternally, and without fail—our relationship and status with our own soul, and the interaction and relationship with our God, and all other souls within the universe, but more intensely, and personally, the souls we have been destined to come in contact with and experience in this world, and the next.

Eternal Love, Unmistakable

The present moments pass so slowly;
squeezing out into reality, the agony of immediateness of my life.
As grave and treacherous as the unknown of tomorrows beginning of my future and my yesterday’s life demised, it all seems so trivial and petty amidst the priorities of pain, turmoil, and hardship of thousands upon thousands of people magnified intensively within two of my six senses, upon the television and radio signal waves.

Lives which held unfathomable importance to someone else, somewhere in a place I’d either barely recognized it’s name, or never was aware of it’s existence, much less the masses of population, or individuals held important to someone’s heart, and foremost on their minds, as they desperately search for them through the rubble of their existence.

Nameless faces appeared and disappeared before me on the television screen, screaming, crying, hearts pierced through with pain, suffering, seemingly unending agony and torture; acts of nature or God, or both compelling the earth, mountains, oceans, fires, and geographical platelets to slide down, across, over, up, sideways, devastating lives and property as if it were a mere ant farm toppled, crushed and drowned into a rolling mudslide, away from today’s and yesterday’s realities, sweeping them who did not ask for change, into a frenzied and forced turmoil of confusion and panicky decision-making survival modes.

My pressures and pains, agonies and defeats, trials and tribulations, no matter how great they seem to me, are instantly dwarfed into a laughable foolishness of reality, striking hard and without notice, purposely and directed, deliberate and devastatingly at the comfort and familiarity, adaptation and livelihood that once was everyone’s obsession and undaunted focus of time and energy.

These relationships, holding love, anger, pain, frustration, determination, healing, caring, sharing, is all that lasts, ultimately and eternally. Literally and completely, everything else has been, is now, or will be flooded, muddied, covered, buried, ripped apart, destroyed, carried away, swept or blown away, beaten down and disrupted, destroyed, demolished, and burned up in the end. All becomes dust again. “Ashes to ashes, dust to dust”.

In the end, the bodies and carcasses of flesh, bone, blood, metal, concrete, fire and water, dirt, sand, and stone, are all the same; dust, blown and scattered by the breath of God; forgotten except for His entertainment and annoyance, frustration, and disappointment, heartache over lives given, yet wasted, never realizing the true essence of their purposes was held in but one word, one action, one deed, one importance, surmised as “love”;
The only thing that cannot be forgotten or deprived, stolen or starved, shattered, or ripped from existence, throughout eternity and all peoples, of all worlds, and all times.
