Will Trump Spend Eternity in Hell? And Which Evangelical Trump Supporters Will Be With Him?
Some Questions for Evangelical Trump Supporters.
As a child I was raised in a strict Calvinistic home. Some of my earliest memories include my Mother making me memorize the 23rd Psalm. There are memories of church and Sunday School usually twice on Sundays, attendance at a Christian Day School and so on.
More importantly are memories of fiery sermons with a variety of fire and brimstone preachers warning of the dangers of hellfire for the unrepentant. Many of these preachers loved to quote Jonathan Edwards warning:
the God that holds you over the pit of hell, much as one holds a spider, or some loathsome insect over the fire, abhors you, and is dreadfully provoked: his wrath towards you burns like fire; he looks upon you as worthy of nothing else, but to be cast into the fire;
As a child, I was taught a strong belief in Calvinism and good old New England Protestantism. My questioning began at a young age. As I grew older and more mature I began to question many of these beliefs. A variety of life experiences also began my transition into a more mature way of thinking.
It started with such questions as why would a loving God use fear as a tool to draw people to Him/Herself? Than I began to question even the existence of God. I asked myself why would God allow such people like Jimmy Baker, Sarah Palin, Franklin Graham or Jerry Falwell (both senior and Junior) to misrepresent Him or more accurately to lie about Him to others? If this were the Old Testament days, such people would be smitten down for blasphemy against God.
So, these Evangelical Christians see themselves as worthy of eternal bliss and the rest of us as worthy of eternal damnation. I would like to suggest that if there is a heaven or hell, the situation is really reversed.** For who would want to spend eternity with such miscreants as Jefferies, Graham, and Fallwell? Would not an eternity with them be hell? What kind of God would want to subject Him/Herself to their company for eternity?
If God wants to spend eternity with the likes of these people, then He is guilty of bad taste. If God is guilty of bad taste, then He can’t be perfect. If God is supposed to be perfect and yet demonstrates bad taste, He can’t be God since perfection is an attribute of God. Therefore, by the evangelical Trump supporters own definitions, God can’t exist.
So now we are led back to our original question. Assuming for the sake of argument that heaven and hell exist, where will Trump end up? After all the Good Book says that all liars, thieves and fornicators shall spend eternity in the lake of fire and since Trump is clearly a liar, a thief and a fornicator, the inescapable conclusion is that Trump will roast over hot coals forever.
What about his supporters? Those who by their silence enable his many sins and are complicit by their silence and their refusal to condemn this man, what about them? Will they keep company with the Donald in the lake of fire? Will the Fallwells, Graham,and Jefferies and those who follow them also enjoy Trump’s company swimming over hot coals? Is supporting Trump worth the cost?
**Personally, I wonder if our current reality is hell. Is Trump an agent of old Satan?

I like to use Karma or Providence when referring to greater wisdom overseeing us. Silence is the great enabler. Keeping my mouth shut and my pen inactive would make me complicit with him and justly deserving of having my own tidal wave of silence come back and smash the crap out of me. I'm just saying...

You mentioned all those people silent about Trump. I guess you forget the small crowds of people that flock to his rallies and chant religiously his slogans generated on Twitter. Real originals like, "Lock them up!"
People are silently changing their minds about following a liar, thief and fornicator. They will vote. This time, if the righteous guardians of the polls don't rig the election again, the Donald can go off to his green, but now gilded with gold, pastures and no longer embarrass the United States on the world stage.
Frankly, my man, I don't care where Trump goes when he dies. But I am a bit concerned about a Trump Dynasty rising from his ashes.

"Where will Trump spend eternity?" The question foments division. And it's a question only the Creator knows the answer to. Given what is available now to the American public; which of the cartoon politicians, vying for power, do you think people should support? We live in a rapidly devolving system where 'We The People' are too often forced to choose between the lessor of two evils. It's a miserable state-of-affairs. Tulsi Gabbard (the only Democratic candidate I respect) said: "this country is doomed." That's pretty direct. In my experiences many of the Trump-bashers-haters never offer the public a candidate they think is better suited to be POTUS. They're cowards.
I'll admit that I've never been fond of Mr. Trump. Not since the first time I saw him trash-talking someone on the TV in my 20's. But even though I've never cared for him, I refuse to bash or hate or badmouth the man. We here pray for him, because the Creator put him in office for a reason; to bring about His perfect will. Once you get a revelation of that, your life will change. As I see it: bashing hatred and anger dwells only in the bosom of fools.
