Boogaloos Promote Chaos

Trump has been emphasizing the anti-cop aspect of the BLM demonstrations in his recent campaign ads. He claims Joe Biden is sympathetic toward de-funding the police. This is a crock. He also insists left wing agitators are responsible for the damage when the only arrests have been Boogaloo Bois, an anarchist pro capitalism group who hate cops.
There is an article in the Minneapolis Star Tribune today entitled BOOGALOO BOIS ARE ARMED – AND EAGER FOR SOCIETAL COLLAPSE by Stephen Montemayor: smontemayor.startribune.com. Early on Trump blamed anti-fa, the liberal group that faced down White Supremacists at Charlottsville. According to FBI files supplied to local law enforcement officials in Minneapolis: “At least one police informant warned that anti-fa would use “vehicle borne improvised explosive devices to target National Guard and other law enforcement. There have been no confirmed reports of such attacks.”
Considering their anti-cop penchant, one would think the Boogaloo Bois were more likely culprits. They are also more organized than anti-fa. We haven't seen anti-fa since Charlottsville. Michael Robert Solomon, who participated in the Minneapolis riots, claims there are at least 250 members of the Boogaloo Bois in Minneapolis. They never meet in large groups, and they train in small groups of twenty or thirty to avoid detection.
JJ MacNab of the George Washington University Program on Extremism says they want to promote increased civil disorder through prolonged “accelerationism”; in other words, keep the demonstrators and the destruction going until the system collapses. MacNav states, “What they want to do is is to kill cops, to kill politicians, to start chaos so that their anarcho-capitalist world can emerge.
This idea that when the Minneapolis city council voted to defund the police meant no one would answer 911 calls in response to attempted murder, home invasion or spousal abuse is just more demagoguery on Trump's part. We have examples throughout the country of instances where police departments have been replaced by county police, nearby cities or some other alternative. Nobody is crazy enough to give the Boogaloos what they want without a fight.
