Cozy mystery whodunit set against the famous streets and skyline of NYC; by NYT bestselling author, Cleo Coyle

The Village Blend Coffeehouse manager Clare Cosi, has been hired to design and create a gourmet coffee and dessert bar for (ex-husband) Matteo Allegro's upcoming wedding, to fashion barracuda Breanne Summour . It's the week before the Wedding of Year, with celebrities expected to attend the posh reception at the Museum of Modern Art. Breanne is the gorgeous editor in chief of TREND Fashion Magazine, and has certainly made her share of enemies in her rise to the top. Bridezilla Breanne emerges when there are several physical attacks upon her, and it is up to Matt, Clare, Detective Mike Quinn, and his fellow NYPD detectives to keep her safe, and the wedding on track. I think Clare has overextended herself to keep a promise to Matt, as she sleuths her way through this mystery. As the bodies pile up, Clare endures being robbed, shot at and attacked, under the banner of protecting Breanne. One side story is that Clare, and Madame, are not fond nor trusting of Breanne or her motives for the marriage. I found it to be a well paced, twisted plot, loaded with suspects and misdirections. A great whodunit that will keep you guessing right until the Wedding Day..or does it get cancelled?
