By Charley Memminger. I found this to be a Perfect Summer read for anyone who loves Hawaii. Having visited Hawaii and lived with locals, this was a great revisit and a refreshing and FUN ride.

But when Stryker receives a phone call from a former classmate who was also a beauty queen, he's drawn back into society to look into the death of her grandfather. Soon, Stryker's investigation leads him to a deadly secret buried deep in the heart of Hawaii. Vivid and exhilarating, you can almost hear the pounding surf and smell the fragrant pink plumeria.
