Check out my latest movie review at www.examiner.com and search at 'Entertainment' in Tucson, Arizona. A word of warning, though. I ALWAYS post a complete synopsis, which does include the climax.
As it is, we are drawn into a future where Earth has somehow been destroyed, but there are - fortunately - survivors who have been "hibernating" on a huge spaceship all this time.
Only problems are that there is a psychological ailment being suffered by some of the hypersleep survivors as well as attacks being instigated by a horde of human-hungry ghouls!
But, overall, as a lover of Asimov-type tales who likes a bit of Bradbury mixed in, I'd give it a "thumbs up".
[My only question is where did they get the name for their next world, "Tanis"? Why? Because that is the very name of the treasure hunter in the first chapter of my critically-acclaimed sci-fi trilogy, THE FINAL PHASE, from 2002...And, yes, I am still working on its screenplay.]
My biggest problem so far with that has been reducing a 350,000 word novel to 120 pages of screenplay.
